White Oaks is a neighbourhood in south London. It's bound by Southdale rd. E. (North),  Wellington Road (East), Exeter Road (South), and White Oak  Road (West). It has a mix of housing styles, from single family homes built in the 1970s and 1980s, to large high-rise apartment buildings.  There are also many townhouse complexes throughout the neighbourhood.  White Oaks Mall is located in the neighbourhood, serving as the centre for transit and shopping.  Near White Oaks Mall is the South London Community Centre, home to the South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre and the Jalna Library Branch.  White Oaks is a neighbourhood of mostly starter type homes.  It is close to shopping and services, has good bus routes and is close to the highway 401 .

White Oaks Park is the major park in the centre of the neighbourhood and is home to the annual South London Canada Day celebration organized by the Community Council of White Oaks. This large park has long paved paths joining up with many of the streets in the neighbourhood.  There are also baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, and multiple play structures and swings sets in the park.  White Oaks Park also has a newly renovated outdoor basketball court.  Other parks in the area include Cheswick Park, Ashley Oaks Park, and White Oaks Optimist Park, which has a skateboard park.

There are also many schools in White Oaks.  White Oaks Public School is one of the largest elementary schools in the city, and contains the South London Community Pool, a public indoor pool. This building is also home to the Family Centre White Oaks, where families can access the many services and resources available to them.   Other schools in the neighbourhood are Rick Hansen and Ashley Oaks public elementary schools, Sir Arthur Carty Catholic Elementary School, and St. Anthony Catholic French Immersion Elementary School.  Secondary students attend Westminster and Regina Mundi.
